How do I make a booking?
Start with your preferred Soft Play Area, check availability, and select Book Online to move to the next stage of booking. If you would like to add to the Soft Play Area or Bouncy Castle you will have the option to do so at the next stage. From there just follow the prompts, plug in the information that we require, read through our Terms and Conditions Contract and before you know it the fun will be booked!
What is a Refundable Bond?
A refundable bond is an addition charge added to a booking. If our hire equipment is damaged, or requires more intensive cleaning beyond standard practice, we will retain the bond payment. If all goes well, the bond will be refunded during the week following the booking date.
What distance will you deliver to?
Our standard delivery service range is within 30km from our base in East Tamaki, Auckland. We can deliver to areas beyond this for an additional fee subject to schedule availability.
Can I collect and return equipment?
This is not currently an option. Our business was built around providing a service of convenience. We're a small team who are constantly in and out with no routine hours of work. This has made it very difficult to allow collection/return by clients. Furthermore, we are an event hire business, so our equipment is available for booking every day unless a client opts to pay a $150 overnight fee.
What happens if I have to cancel my booking?
Booking cancellation, for any reason, with more than 14 days notice will be refunded excluding the 25% non refundable deposit payment. Booking cancellations, for any reason, with less than 14 days notice will not be refunded. Client’s will be offered full credit to use at a later date within 6 months following the cancellation date.
Can I hire out soft play equipment separately?
This is no longer viable for our business. We tried to absorb the costs to be able to provide this service for as long as we could. We have now established a minimum booking cost of $250 which does not include delivery charges, if applicable. For travel distances further than 30km the minimum booking cost is $400, not including delivery.
What surface can your hire equipment be set up on?
During autumn and winter months we will only set up INDOORS. Why? Because autumn and winter months are cold and rainy with wet and muddy surfaces that are hazardous as well as unconducive to the use of inflatable and/or foam equipment. If a castle becomes wet, it has to be inflated again to dry and sometimes this can mean days go by in between. During this time the castle gets moldy, smelly, and in a sub standard condition for the next user - a huge No from us!
During spring and summer we can set up indoors or outdoors on most level surfaces except: muddy, wet, sandy, loose gravel, very dusty, or sloped more than 5 degrees.
What area size is required for the equipment?
Please refer to our product descriptions for equipment dimensions as well as guidance for ideal space required for safest use.
How is your equipment cleaned and maintained?
We vacuum and clean our equipment after every use with hospital grade surface disinfectant solutions. Routine maintenance checks are performed after every use. Our bouncy castles and toys are routinely checked for deterioration and all of our electrical equipment is tested and tagged by a registered electrician routinely.
How many children can go on your bouncy castles at one time?
This varies depending on the size of our bouncy castles and manufacturers guidelines so please check our product descriptions. Adults are not permitted on any of our castles.
What happens if there is bad weather on the day of my event?
In spring and summer months when we allow outdoor hire, we will call you in the morning on the day of the event to discuss the weather. Our equipment can not be used in the rain so we strongly encourage party planners to have a Plan B indoor option just incase. We can not refund for same day cancellations but we do offer a full credit to be used within the following 12 months. For more in depth information please read Terms and Conditions.
What are your payment options?
Internet bank transfer and Credit or Debit Card via PayPal or Stripe.
How long can I hire equipment for?
Up to 6 hours of playtime! We do not include set up or pack down time in the maximum 6 hour duration.
Longer hire length (+ $40 per hour) and overnight hire ($150) are available subject to availability.
